US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand visits Barber’s

This was a great week at Barber’s Farm!

United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand came to visit, along with a great group of young people from The Brotherhood and Sister Soul organization in Harlem, NY. This energetic bunch has started a community garden AND sell their veggies at their own Farmer’s Market. The group, along with the Senator, got a chance to tour our high tunnels and learn how we grow such delicious greens in the dead of winter. They were also treated to a delicious, Barber’s Farm lunch- all the ingredients: our own produce!
